Due to the complexity of this disease, my experience has been that by blending the teachings of ILADS doctors Joseph Burrascano, Bernard Raxlen and others, with the teachings of Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, and my experience in Functional Medicine, brings the best possible outcomes for patients.
My Thoughts About Helping You Regain Your Health
I believe that health care practitioners who get sick, learn from their own illnesses, and are better able to understand and help their patients. My personal health challenges are what brought me to the study of many Integrative, Holistic and Eastern philosophies of health and medicine. We are as different inside our bodies as we appear on the outside. This is why I tailor each person's treatment to the needs and requirements of that person's unique body.

2002 graduated with honors from Excelsior College as a Nurse
2004 graduated with high honors from the University of Stony Brook School of Nursing as Adult Health Nurse Practitioner
Currently licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner.
Dually trained in Conventional Medicine and Integrative Medicine.
1982-1983 Faculty member at SUNY Stony Brook - taught Geriatric Medicine to Physician Assistant students
Awarded certificate of training in Geriatric Medicine from the Jewish Institute of Geriatric Care in New York
1999 to 2004 Director of the Palliative Care and Complementary Medicine programs at the Margaret Tietz Center for Skilled Nursing Care in Jamaica, NY

Optimal health is much more than the absence of sickness. It is the conscious pursuit of the highest qualities of the physical, environmental, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of the human experience.
I get great pleasure from helping people reach their goals, and regain their health. I also have a love of nature, the outdoors, environmental conservation, and wildlife.
